Marvel Cinematic Universe is only a few movies away from having the highest movie count in a film franchise. The first position is held by Jame Bond with a movie count of 25, whereas MCU is at number 2 with 23 movies out of which 4 are Avengers’ movies. Soon the first place will be taken by Marvel Cinematic Universe as Marvel Phase 4 is about to begin. If it weren’t for Coronavirus, Marvel Studios might have been on perfect schedule with their production and releases. Within the MCU franchise, there are sub-series. Iron Man, Thor and Captain America have their own trilogies. Until now, Avengers got 4 movies, all the superheroes from their standalone movies come together to fight a stronger enemy with a greater threat. The first Avengers movie incorporates Thor’s adopted brother, Loki as the villain and the second Avengers movie with Ultron. In third and fourth, Avengers try to stop Thanos, Gamora’s father, from killing half of the universe.

EVERY MARVEL CINEMATIC UNIVERSE MOVIE RANKED FROM BEST TO WORST

Ranking Avengers’ movies are as hard as lifting Thor’s hammer, yet I did it. These 4 superhero team-up movies are based on comic books by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Marvel Studios produced live-action movies gathering characters together that fans loved to watch. Every individual has a different opinion and these opinions have to be acknowledged. I have ranked in the following way considering how the story is taken forward in the franchise, the quality of the movie and how good the plot is.

4. Avengers: Age of Ultron

No second thoughts in placing Age of Ultron at number 4. The movie is not bad, it just no as good as the other ones. Joss Whedon’s efforts are seen all over the movie. The CGI, the acting and everything else were brilliantly rendered. Even with all that, Age of Ultron couldn’t deliver a power-packed punch like the other Avengers movies. Avengers: Age of Ultron is the most expensive Marvel movie and also the least earning Avengers movie.

3. Avengers: Infinity War

Before you dwell into the awesomeness of Infinity War and disagree on it being at number 3, allow me to explain why Infinity War has to be at number 3. Part 3 of Avengers has conspicuous action. For the first time in MCU, all superhero are shown at once and without making a mess, the movie was able to give enough screen time to all the characters and succeeded in making it a whooping masterpiece. The only thing that concerns with the movie is, it’s not about the Avengers, it’s about Thanos. The directors of told it themselves. A higher place will be given to those movies which go deep into the lives of heroes, not the villain.

2. Avengers: Endgame

Justice has been done to the Saga. Did Black Widow and Iron Man complete their story arc? I guess, yes they did. Compiling all the movies before and putting all the pieces together, looking over all the foreshadowing and making it as emotional as possible, Avengers: Endgame did the job. It’s hard for one to not cry in the end. A bittersweet ending, but an ending we deserved. Endgame truly signified the distance a superhero movie could go. I have spent days thinking about Endgame and The Avengers and their places on this list. Honestly, I have lost it, but I got all my thoughts together and ranked them this way.

1. The Avengers

Why does The Avengers deserve to be the best Avengers movie ever? Grouping all characters together for the first time is not simple. Look what happened to Justice League, DC characters are as famous as Marvel characters, they have got Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and the others, but JL failed miserably. Not sure if Snyder Cut is any good. But the part when all characters meet and share their presence on screen, everything could go wrong. Yet somehow, The Avengers didn’t fail. Marvel Cinematic Universe became world-famous with The Avengers. Iron Man 2 and Thor 1 didn’t go as planned, the franchise faced the same issues as how DCEU faced with Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad. The Avengers was later released and BOOM! The New York battle scene still gives me chills. Loki turned out to be one of the best villains Marvel has ever produced. Hope you’ll agree with me.
