Jumanji is back again with a new installment. Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan, Jack Black, and Kevin Hart are back to the next level of Jumanji. The adventure continues and as the level increases, the toughness increases too, pretty sure this adventure won’t be as easy as the previous one. Sony Pictures have dropped the trailer of Jumanji: The Next Level(Jumanji 3), which explores new locations which include arid deserts, snowy mountains, and thick rain forests too, omg! How big is the game?
The story seems to go in a different direction this time. Spencer(Alex Wolff) tries to experiment on the game and something happens which makes him disappear into the game. To find him, his friends Martha(Morgan Turner), Bethany(Madison Iseman) and Anthony(Ser’Darius Blain) go into the game unprepared, which also pulls Spencer’s grandpa(Danny DeVito) and grandpa’s friend(Danny Glover) into the game. The avatars get completely messed up. Unlike before, Spencer doesn’t become Dr. Smolder(Dwayne Johnson), but his grand father’s the one who becomes Dr. Smolder, in the same way, Grandpa’s friend becomes Franklin Finbar(Kevin Hart), Anthony ends up being Professor Shelly Oberon(Jack Black). Bethany is the only one who got her avatar correct, Ruby Roundhouse(Karen Gillan).
The thrilling adventure begins when Nigel says, ‘Welcome to Jumanji’. The journey starts off and the whole game is different this time. The humor is expected to be higher, cause old people don’t play video games seriously. One of the old ones presumes he’s dead, which results in Jumanji to be hell to him. Yes, the trailer promises to deliver a lot of humor, which it definitely will. Nick Jonas is back and is featured in the trailer in a very little glance. Who took the avatar of Alex the pilot? Is it Spencer or Martha?
Jumanji began in 1995, starring Robin Williams, in which the world of Jumanji came into real life, but Jumanji: Welcome to the jungle took real-life kids into the game. The reboot worked well and Jumanji 2 grossed over $1 billion at the box office worldwide, the prequel was released in 2017 on a Christmas weekend. The formula of Jumanji 2 was perfect to entertain kids and make tons of money. Jumanji 3 took a new turn with the formula and seems a bit different.
Awkwafina, Massi Furlan, Dania Ramirez, and a few others are joining the franchise. Jumanji: The Next Level is set to release on December 13, 2019.
