A lot of speculations ran over the internet about Kit Harington Joining the Marvel Saga and all of it halts to an end. Kit Harington who played Jon Snow in one of the world’s famous TV show Game of Thrones will be a part of Marvel Phase 4. Kit Harington Joins MCU. Marvel’s presentation at D23 Expo has a lot to take in for the fans.

Kit Harington will be playing Dane Whitman in the Eternals. Dane Whitman is also called as Black Knight, who is not an Eternal. Dane Whitman has a good comic history. He inherits a mystical sword which carries a curse. His uncle is also called Black Knight who has a villainous past, from whom Dane takes over the name. Dane Whitman was part of the Avengers in the comics and helped in fighting the bad guys for a long time. He was even part of the Defenders, Ultraforce, Heroes for Hire, and MI: 13. The reason why Dane is getting featured in the Eternals movie is, he holds a romantic connection with Sersi, an Eternal played by Gemma Chan.

Kit Harington Joins MCU and that isn’t all of it, the amusing thing is that two stars from Game of Thrones will be a part of this movie about the “fictional race of humanoids”(Eternals). Richard Madden who plays Robb Stark on Game of Thrones is also a cast member of the movie. Richard is going to play Ikaris, an Eternal who has the abilities of Superhuman strength, speed, stamina, agility, reflexes, and durability in the comics.

The other actors and their roles in the movie are, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Angelina Jolie as Thena, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Brian Tyree Henry as Phaistos, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, and Salma Hayek as Ajak.

The most probable reason to cast Kit Harington as the Dark Knight might the sword skills that the actor has. Being Jon Snow means to be the best Swords Man in the North, which Kit Harington is trained and practiced for.
