This is the most anticipated question on the internet, Marvel vs DC, two comic book companies which are unique in their own way and were established decades ago.

 Marvel vs DC

Marvel Comics is the common name and primary imprint of Marvel Worldwide Inc., formerly Marvel Publishing, Inc. and Marvel Comics Group and it is acquired by Disney for $4 billion on August 31, 2009.

Marvel started in 1939 as Timely Publications by Martin Good, and by the early 1950s. The Marvel branding began in 1961, the year that the company launched The Fantastic Four and other superhero titles created by Stan LeeJack KirbySteve Ditko, and many others.

DC comics is founded in 1934, DC Comics, Inc. It is an American comic book publisher and is the publishing unit of DC Entertainment, a subsidiary of Warner Bros. Entertainment, Inc.

DC Comics is one of the largest and oldest American comic book companies, DC produces a wide range of comics and superhero series, just like Marvel Comics.

Marvel vs DC

As said before, they are pretty old publishing companies, dominating the industry for a long time. When the publishers of both companies understood that the fight between DC characters and Marvel characters is what their readers and fans were looking for, these surprisingly made a move, they worked together and released a comic book series called DC vs. Marvel.

Eventually, Batman rescues captain America from drowning to death, Because Cap falls unconscious due to drowning, and Batman wins.

With majority battle wins – Marvel apparently defeats DC, according to the book. But in the end, writers created a new entity called Access.

Access is a being capable of traversing the two universes, infuses Batman and Captain America with fragments of the true universes before the Spectre and the Living Tribunal attempt to create a compromise by fusing the two universes together.

And eventually, in the end, both universes withdraw their fight thinking it as a pointless move. That’s how Marvel vs DC ends.
