On his Instagram, he posted a couple of stories while on a plane and when arrived in Atlanta. As he landed, he expressed excitement for his next and last Marvel Cinematic Universe movie.

Ok, so, we just landed in Atlanta and it’s time for Spider-Man 3. Let’s go!

Benedict Cumberbatch is going to appear in Spider-Man 3 as Doctor Strange to be a mentor to Peter Parker after what happened to Tony Stark in Avengers: Endgame. Jamie Foxx as Electro from Andrew Garfield Spider-Man movie is also confirmed to be in the sequel. There are rumours about Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire joining this MCU project, but they are just rumours for now. Nothing is official yet.

The official title of the movie is not announced but reports have claimed the title to be Spider-Man: Serenity Now. Even though it is not verified, this title is coherent. After what happened at the end of Far From Home, Peter’s life undoubtedly becomes chaotic. Serenity means calm and there we have the premise of the movie.

Zendaya will return as MJ, Jacob Batalon as Ned and Marisa Tomei will play Aunt May. J. K. Simmons did a cameo role as The Daily Bugle web show host, J. Jonah Jameson in the mid-credits scene of Far From Home, he is most likely to return. Director of Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: far From Home, Jon Watts is directing this movie too.

Spider-Man 3 is slated to hit the theatres on December 17, 2021, after which Tom Holland will leave MCU to comply with the Disney-Sony deal for Spider-Man.

*Note: The above mentioned date might change due to COVID-19.
